The Duchess of Sussex has revealed a limited-edition chocolate Advent calendar created with Compartés — complete with 24 treats, handwritten-style gold details and artwork inspired by the California home she shared with Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle is getting an early start on the festive season with the launch of a luxury $148 chocolate Advent calendar — her first major commercial release since returning to Britain with Prince Harry and their children.
The Duchess of Sussex has teamed up with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés to create the limited-edition product for her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Featuring 24 chocolates behind individually numbered doors, the calendar takes inspiration from Meghan’s former Montecito home and garden in California, where the Sussex family lived for six years.
And although the product is arriving just in time for the run-up to Christmas, Meghan has revealed that work on the festive launch began much earlier than fans might expect.
In a behind-the-scenes social media clip, she revealed she was already doing “Christmas planning in June.”
Meghan’s Montecito Home Inspired The Festive Design
One of the calendar’s most distinctive features is its artwork.
The exterior was designed around the Montecito property associated with Meghan, Harry and their family during their years in California.
Meghan collaborated with Compartés creative director Jonathan Grahm on the design, which transforms elements of the home and garden into a festive Christmas illustration.

According to promotional material for the release, particular attention was also given to the calendar’s numbered doors.
The countdown numbers were hand-painted using Meghan’s own handwriting and recreated with edible gold lustre.
The concept is intended to add a personal element to the daily ritual of opening each compartment in the countdown to Christmas.
Inside Are 24 Chocolates With Meghan-Inspired Flavours
The luxury packaging is only part of the product.
Behind the 24 doors is a selection of chocolates incorporating flavours closely associated with As Ever’s existing food products.
Among them are strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and orange marmalade.
The collection also includes a chocolate decorated with Meghan’s signature flower sprinkles, as well as a dark chocolate ganache truffle from Compartés.
The collaboration brings together the confectionery company’s chocolate-making style with the food and lifestyle aesthetic Meghan has been developing through As Ever.
It also expands an existing partnership between the two brands.
As Ever and Compartés previously collaborated on chocolate bars priced at $12.
The Calendar Comes With A $148 Price Tag

The limited-edition Advent calendar is priced at $148, or approximately £112.
Customers in the United States will be able to pre-order it through As Ever, with deliveries expected to begin in November ahead of the Christmas countdown.
The premium price puts Meghan’s collaboration above several of Compartés’ other festive offerings.
The chocolatier is also promoting Advent calendars including Enchanted Castle, The Nutcracker and Winter Forest, priced at $120 each.
An email sent to As Ever subscribers teased the new collaboration ahead of its release and encouraged customers to reserve the calendar in time for November delivery.
The product is being marketed not simply as something to enjoy during December but also as packaging designed to be kept after the chocolates are gone.
Meghan Revealed She Was Planning Christmas Months Ago
Ahead of the official unveiling, Meghan gave followers a glimpse behind the scenes of the project.
She shared footage showing herself riding around an unidentified estate in a golf cart with Compartés creative director Jonathan Grahm.
With Meghan driving, the pair laughed as they travelled around the property.
The clip was accompanied by Michael Bublé’s Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) and a caption revealing that the footage came from “Christmas planning in June.”
Other glimpses showed early versions of the calendar artwork.
Meghan’s black Labrador, Pula, also made an appearance carrying an As Ever plush toy while being affectionately stroked by the Duchess.
Together, the clips showed that development of the Christmas product had been underway months before its October launch.
As Ever Continues Expanding Meghan’s Lifestyle Business
The Advent calendar represents another step in the development of As Ever, which Meghan launched in 2025.
The brand has previously offered products including preserves, flower sprinkles and other food and lifestyle items.
Meghan has continued promoting the business through social media since returning to Britain with Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Christmas collaboration also fits closely with the entertaining and hosting image Meghan has built around the brand.

Shortly before revealing the Advent calendar, As Ever shared a series of hosting suggestions attributed to Meghan.
One of her main recommendations was to complete as much preparation as possible before guests arrive.
She also suggested deliberately leaving one simple kitchen task until the end, allowing the host to finish something while guests settle in.
The advice was shared alongside an image of Meghan tying on a white apron.
A New Business Launch After Meghan’s Return To Britain
The timing of the calendar makes the release particularly notable.
Meghan and Harry returned to Britain with Archie and Lilibet in August after living in California for six years.
Despite the move, Meghan has continued developing and promoting As Ever.
The $148 Advent calendar is her latest high-profile product release and one of the clearest signs that the Duchess intends to continue building her lifestyle business from her new base in Britain.
For As Ever, the product combines several themes that have become closely associated with Meghan’s brand — food, entertaining, gifting and carefully curated presentation.
But it is the deeply personal design that may attract the most attention.
From the illustration inspired by her former Montecito home to numbers based on her own handwriting and chocolates incorporating familiar As Ever flavours, Meghan has placed her personal aesthetic throughout the collaboration.
And while most people were still months away from thinking about the festive season, Meghan’s Christmas preparations were apparently already underway back in June.
