Day three of the Sussexes’ fast-paced visit to Australia brought a mix of warm moments… and one slightly awkward encounter.
During a stop at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Meghan Markle met with representatives from a youth mental health initiative, where she shared her thoughts on the country.

When asked about her experience, she responded enthusiastically, calling Australia “brilliant” and saying she would love to return in the future.
As the couple exited the venue, crowds gathered outside, cheering and calling out both Meghan and Prince Harry’s names.

However, earlier in the day, things took a more unexpected turn.
While walking through Melbourne’s Fitzroy Gardens, Prince Harry was approached by a Channel Seven reporter, Paul Dowsley, who attempted to snap a quick selfie with the royal.
The moment quickly drew attention, as the reporter moved in and out of camera shots, prompting intervention from staff. At one point, Harry appeared to gently guide him aside as he tried to get closer.

Despite the slightly awkward situation, the exchange remained light-hearted. The reporter later said Harry even complimented his outfit, describing him as “well-dressed.”
The Duke and Duchess continued their schedule with a visit to Batyr, a program focused on youth mental health and wellbeing. There, they spoke with young advocates about encouraging open conversations around mental health.

Their trip will continue with further engagements, including a business summit appearance by Prince Harry, before they travel on to Sydney.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle has also attracted attention for sharing details of her outfits online through a fashion platform, allowing fans to purchase similar looks worn during the tour.

Despite minor controversies and viral moments along the way, the couple’s visit continues to draw large crowds — and plenty of online discussion.
