For hours, residents in Aydın, Turkey, couldn’t ignore the heartbreaking sound of a dog barking in distress. The noise echoed from a nearby construction site where fresh concrete had recently been poured.
Fearing something was wrong, locals called AKUT rescue, who discovered a shocking scene.
A helpless dog had become trapped in solidifying concrete.
No one knows how she got there. It’s believed she stepped onto wet concrete, slipped into debris, and became stuck as it hardened—alone, unable to move, and scared.
Thankfully, rescuers acted quickly.
Using specialised tools, they carefully chipped away the hardened concrete piece by piece, making sure not to hurt her. The delicate rescue lasted nearly seven exhausting hours.
Finally, the dog was freed.
She was tired, terrified, and covered in concrete — but alive.
Rescuers immediately gave her fluids to help her recover from the ordeal before rushing her to a veterinarian for further care.
At first, they thought she might be a stray.
But there was an even more emotional twist.
The dog’s name is Paris — and she actually has a family who has been desperately searching for her.
After receiving medical care and being confirmed safe, Paris was finally reunited with her owners.
A terrifying situation… but one that ended with hope, relief, and a second chance at life
